Wondering if I should make more effort with my looks

I never wear make up except a bit of concealer if I've got some spots. I have a short bob, I never blowdry it, just let it dry.
I wear one pair of studs and no other jewellery really.
I don't do anything with my nails, I mean I keep them short and clean but I cba with the hassle of painting them.
The last time I wore make up was around a month ago for an event.
I do get my eyebrows waxed as I can't do them myself.
I've been happy with this routine as it's very quick for me to get ready. However wondering if I should make more effort.
I usually wear a pair of leggings or skinny trousers with a patterned or plain top or jumper, and flat shoes.
I see people who look very put together and well-presented. I don't look scruffy, or at least I hope I don't, but I wonder if I'd be more respected and taken more seriously with more of a 'professional' look.

@OhDeniseReally what lip/cheek stain do you use please as I need one of those as a fellow pale person, never know which one to go for though. Thanks

In what way is your existing appearance "unprofessional"?

@RandomBanto will upload a pic of it. It is fab. You do have to be careful applying it though, it is liquid rather than a cream! You just need a small dab on your cheekbones and sweep it along your cheekbones with your fingers for a bit of colour

You sound like me, OP. I only really make an effort for a special occasion. It's fine. You don't owe it to anyone to alter your looks. Do what you want.
