RIP Fatoumatta and her beautiful children

I’m sure many people have heard of this story already but for those who haven’t, a man has been charged with the murder of a woman (Fatoumatta) and her two daughters (Fatimah & Naeemah). Those poor kids were only aged 1 & 3. I really don’t know what sort of world we’re living in. Here’s a link for anyone who wants to read the story,

I was thinking the exactly same thing. I really hope she wasn’t aware of what happened to her children as I can’t imagine anything worse then feeling unable to help your kids in a life or death situation. I can’t stop thinking about her husband and how he has to live with this for the rest of his life. It’s actually heartbreaking

I was so saddened to read this too. Just heartbreaking. I must admit when I first read the report I wondered if it was a domestic incident but then I saw the father was away at the time. I can’t imagine the motive for doing something like this. Horrendous.

Heartbreaking doesn't even begin to cover it. If I was the Judge it'd be a straight up Whole life Tariff. If he can do that to a women with 2 innocent children. One can only terrifyingly imagine what he'd do to anyone else.

We all know what happens to women and child killers in prison don't we.
Its all very well him being undoubtedlyquivering on protection but they can still be got to.

I don’t want to say anything that could jeopardise the trial but once again Facebook posts that should have been major warning signs were ignored.

@alexdgr8 But Fatoumatta's husband has just explained that they were due to go for a final interview to get visas to join him in the US where he works. Instead he spent his 40th birthday in the morgue. People aren't speculating just giving sympathy to him and his wife's family who must be devastated.

I also saw the Facebook comments via Instagram and I wish I could say I’m shocked but I’m really not. These things often get overlooked. It’s such a shame people are allowed to write such hate speech on social media with no repercussions
