I Recent lost a grandparent - DD5's great grandparent, my dad wants to buy a Christmas gift for my DD from great grandparent and has asked me to think what this should be

I'd like something that can be treasured or kept, possibly personalised. Budget max £70

Thinking a teddy or book etc

Hit me with your ideas please

For £70 I’d get a keepsake that he’d enjoy as he gets older. A really nice vintage clock or watch maybe.

How old is your DD? I would go for something quality and fun that can be used lots then kept to pass down through the generations - maybe one of those wooden swings/ rocking horse etc?

wouldukissafrog · 23/11/2022 20:24

@Beachhutnut lovely ideas but rocking horses cost way above budget. On the right track though, something that can be loved now and potentially passed to her children one day

If it's for a keepsake then my first thought would be a bear from Love Keep Create. They are so lovely

Jewellery box that she can put things in now but still use as she gets older.

bridgetreilly · 23/11/2022 20:38

Something like this would be lovely. With a small piece of age-appropriate jewellery she can enjoy now.
