To think football correspondents in Qatar should stop asking the public what they think about the countries lack of human rights/LGBT issues?

Hi,

Was just watching the BBC news and the story had just broke that England and Wales would not be wearing the One Love arm band, due to sanctions, probably in the form of a yellow card.

Now, as a member of the LGBT community, I was disappointed to hear this and I don't actually believe it should be being held there in the first place. I won't be watching, however, these journalists interviewing the England and Wales fans need to stop asking what their views are on this. It's bloody dangerous! Yes, of course they should be able to stand up and say whatever they want, but you can see that a lot of them are already drunk and so awareness out the window! They could actually be jailed for saying they supported LGBT rights or that they themselves are gay or someone in their group is! You can be jailed just for 'looking gay'.

I think it's really irresponsible and I hate to say it, because I think it's disgusting that we should be having to be careful in this way, but it is what it is.

I'm really surprised they haven't been briefed about this and told not to ask such questions.

It's an unsafe country. I can't believe this event is being held there. Fifa showing their colours really
