To change jobs for this reason?

So basically ... I currently work 4 days a week in a job that is a 1 hour commute away. I have a toddler who I drop off at childcare on the way and the commute is becoming a bit much, 2 hours each day. It's more if the traffic is bad, more like 1 hr 15 mins each way. It's burning me out. I have to leave the house at 7am with a toddler and I'm just exhausted with. The perks are that I love the team I work with (for the most part) and I enjoy the work I do.

I've got an interview next week for a job that is a slightly fewer hours but still 4 days. So slightly less money, but I'd be saving significantly on fuel costs as it's on my doorstep (a few miles away) so the commute would be so much better. It's a slightly different type of work to what I do now but a very similar field. I have no idea about the team obviously, it's a gamble in that respect.

My DC would have to move to a new nursery if I got it, which upsets me a little as she is very settled where she is now.

Is this a good enough reason to consider moving jobs? It's a huge gamble. I'm getting v nervous about it all and thinking should I pull out of the interview.... WWYD?

Yes. You still gain, say 1.5 hours per day, as you have a shorter commute.

It’s definitely a good reason to move in my book. A one hour + each way commute is a lot even without the toddler in the mix.

Thanks for your replies. I keep second guessing myself and thinking what if I hate it? Because I do enjoy where I'm at now, despite the commute. It's a tough one!
