Me and my best mate used to work together (she told me there was a job going where she worked and I got it) about 6 years ago. She left to have children and didn't return to the industry, instead doing minimum wage part time jobs.
I recently got made redundant and told her I had an interview for a new job, with a good wage. She always said she wasn't interested in going back to the industry and is happy in her current little shop job.
I've found out when I told her about the job she applied and as she's still got her qualification, has got an interview too!
AIBU to be fuming with her?
