To call the police?

Over the past month I have received calls from a withheld number, breathing heavily down the phone and saying sexually explicit things to me.

They're whispering when they talk and I don't recognise the voice or accent at all. A lot of the time they are just silent and/or breathing heavily.

Not sure if it's relevant but last year my house was broken into and I was assaulted by an unidentified male. That was about 1.5 years ago now.

I'm really freaked out but not sure that a prank call warrants a call to the police!

Do you live alone, OP? TBH I would be tempted to move house and get a dog and CCTV.

100% report to the police, especially if the caller knows your name. Don't mess around, the police can give you advice on the best way to protect yourself.

Moving house would be a little OTT without first trying the white, police, changing number. If it's someone you know they'll know where you live anyway. Massive expensive and upheaval is not the answer hee
