you have

a. A fleet of staff to source, prepare and cook all the ingredients required for her meals and

b. If you are a multi millionaire in order to be able to afford all the ingredients in the first place.

Your arse may end up being smaller but you wont be able to afford to buy any new jeans to fit it will you?

I agree- her ingredients are so complicated. Her books do make for good reading tho ...as fiction!

(says whilst glugging a glass of rose mmm)

Blandmum · 29/01/2008 18:34

.........You are mad enought to follow the advice of a woman who understands so little science she seems to think that eating plant based foods can oxygenate your blood (to finish off the thread title)

pointydog · 29/01/2008 18:35

oh yes, she is nutz. I hates her

SnappyLaGore · 29/01/2008 18:37

been well exposed as a total charlatan and fraud.

if your gut were oxygenated it would explode, wouldnt it? something like that... shes bonkers. dont waste your time/energy/money

Blandmum · 29/01/2008 18:41

If the plant material were still capable of carrying out photosynthesis (which after being macerated in hydrochloric acid I rather doubt)it would only work if you shone a light up your arse.

mind you, she is anally fixated, so heaven knows what she does on cold winter nights!

bohemianbint · 29/01/2008 18:45

Crikey - she's only 42!

Is she still doing that daft TV programme? She is the one and only person on the TV who makes me want to throw things across the room.

MuthaHubbard · 29/01/2008 21:18

Wasn't she told to remove the 'doctor' title from her books etc, given the fact that she isn't?

StripeyMamaSpanx · 29/01/2008 21:23

Oh she is a crazywoman.

What happened to enjoying what you eat???

We eat healthily, but IMO that includes enjoying the food you eat and having a healthy attitude to food, not obsessing over farking quinoa and wheatgrass and whatnot.

tori32 · 29/01/2008 21:30

PMSL at the op! DH and I have the same discussion every time she is on TV. She looks haggard for her age. I choose the chub over her looks any day!

rantinghousewife · 29/01/2008 21:34

Pmsl at MB and the doings of GM on cold winter nights. The mind boggles.

WanderingTrolley · 29/01/2008 21:42

I would quite like to sit on her and crush her joyless form flat.

It is entirely possible to follow one of her diets as long as you supplement it with some chocolate proper food and common sense.

Though I now have a new understanding of Things Found Up Bum in A&E departments....

"Well, you're never gonna believe this, but what I actually did...."

"Nurse! We've got another McKeith! Bring the plunger and the KY!"

Upwind · 30/01/2008 13:25

WanderingTrolley

she is a miserable excuse for a human being and since she has been exposed as a fraud, her programmes and books should not be promoted by any reputable company

flicky · 30/01/2008 13:35

I thought she looked rough because of the problems with her spine, isn't she in lots of pain with scoliosis (sp)?

Upwind · 30/01/2008 13:39

I don't know about scoliosis, but there is no excuse for the bullying way she treats the masochists who come on her show (I watched it only twice, honest!)

I think it's OTT you need fresh, local, organic prod, cook from scratch and skip on the fat, wine and readymeals imho you can end up neurotic about food. Oh and extercise.
