To just want Christmas food with no alcohol

I don't drink alcohol at all anymore because I get drunk too easily but mainly because I think I'm allergic/intollerant.

I don't like the taste of it in my food anyway.

Why is it soooo hard to find a good Christmas pudding without alcohol? I know Christmas pudding is like marmite but I love it! I also can't find nice mince pies without some sort of spirit in them.

Does anyone else find it increasingly harder to find non-alcoholic Christmas treats?

@Used4tt, it's fine. DM is the same, there is actually a lot more ready made alcohol free stuff than there used to be., but look at the simpler ranges, or try Holland and Barrett for alcohol free and fancier. Or make your own alcohol free pud - traditionally done on Bonfire Night!

I hate alcohol in food and have never found this an issue

Georgie Porgies Puddings are great! There traditional Christmas Puddings do contain a tiny bit of alcohol buts it's not noticeable to me (I can count on one hand how many times I've drunk alcohol this year!). They do a Mince Pie Steamed Sponge which doesn't appear to have alcohol in it, as well as lots of other steamed sponges.

I have to read small print carefully as DP does not like taste of alcohol in anything sweet
Strangely is ok with it in savoury dishes
