Ways to force a company into giving a refund for undelivered goods. I'm fuming.

Posting on this board for traffic.

Back story I ordered £80 of dog food from an online company as my local pet shop stopped stocking it. Delivery was 5-10 days. After 14 days I emailed and was told it was on it's way. 3 weeks later I emailed again and was told a new order had been sent out. This never arrived. I emailed again and requested a refund, was told it had been authorised and would take 4/5 days. A week later I asked where my refund was and was told it had now definitely been processed and would be with me in 2/3 days. That was 2 weeks ago. All emails I've sent since have been unanswered and no phone number is listed on their website. In my search for a phone number I unearthed a stack of negative reviews (why didn't I check this before....) and cases where they've done this to many, many other customers. What can I do?

Ironically, they keep emailing me with requests to leave them feedback which I will obviously be where I start but what else can I do to really be a thorn in their side?

I'm only too happy to name the company- Notinthedoghouse.co.uk

Sounds like you need to raise as a dispute with your bank annoyingly. Send them all the proof, emails etc and they will (eventually) refund you and try and claim it back from the company.

Did you pay by credit card? Can you do a charge back?

If not social media the life out of them. Just be truthful

Have you spoken to your bank, they may be able to help with the refund.

I bought it with my VISA debit card, can I still request my bank intervene? I thought I could only do that with a credit card.

you have different/better protection on a credit card, but you can still try to get your bank to do a charge back on a debit card

Thanks, I've just submitted the forms for this.
