To ask how much you spend on DC at Christmas?

Would love to know how much other people spend on their DC at Christmas...do you have a budget or just buy what you can/what they ask for?

About £300 but I’m buying DM boots so that’s chunk of that. BIL/SIL particularly buy DD shit presents (despite being very generous with their children) so I feel like I need to make that up to her.

DD had a friend in primary and her mum spent a grand. She didn’t work and was skint and was part of a massive family, so DD got loads of top of that too. It’s hard to explain to a child that’s not normal.
