ok, i get times are tough, and you may need to economize and go without things you're used to.
But not homeless, not starving, not going without essential medicines.
And the fact that you didn't go on holiday when your neighbor did is neither here not there.

YABU. It's not a competition.

If people don’t complain and just accept their lot it gets worse for everyone. The worst off in society are sometimes voiceless, sometimes entirely disenfranchised.

Look to history and you’ll see that radical, far reaching social change has always been effected by the middle classes - those who believe they are entitled to more. We need these people moaning and complaining.
