Liz Truss can claim £115,000 every year from taxpayer despite serving for just six weeks

Truss survived just 45 days in No 10, consigning herself to the history books as the country’s shortest-serving prime minister.

I was until this fiasco, a Tory voter - but even I think that is disgusting!
While I'm on my rant - I am also outraged at the amount The HOLs suck up just for doddering in for a catch with cronies

YANBU to feel she should publicly reject it ( or that it should be changed immediately to reflect length of service)

YABU It is only fair as it has applied to all PMs equally, where do you draw the line?

To be fair it is only for things related to public service and public life, not just an annual salary. However, we all know how good politicians are at making fair a reasonable claims.....

Minus her MPs salary. And only for things related to being an ex PM. I can't see Liz being invited to many ex-PM events.

For context Tony Blair and John Major claimed the allowance in full last year. Gorden Brown claimed part of it.

Fairly sure Boris will find a way to claim Carribean holidays as ex-PM business though.

You can look at Mp's expenses here if you're interested. I can't tell if it includes the ex-pm allowance or not? Interestingly Boris seems to spend an awful lot of money on banners.
