Right now?
I've just finished 'Blonde ' and found it quite good.

OP posts:
Everydaywheniwakeup · 22/10/2022 00:11

I started watching Shtitsel on a recommendation on here, but as its in Hebrew with subtitles, I need to watch it properly rather than scrolling at the same time so that's been shelved.
Am late to the Netflix party, so have just watched Emily in Paris which I loved and Virgin River which was compellingly shit.

Danikm151 · 22/10/2022 00:12

Raising Dion is good.

legophoenix · 22/10/2022 00:12

Just finished The Midnight Club - was good but prefer Mike Flanagan's other stuff.

Can't beat The US Office for something lighthearted. I could watch it over and over and over.

LondonQueen · 22/10/2022 00:18

Have recently finished Dhamer and The Watcher, both were fab, now to find another series...

MrsDThomas · 22/10/2022 08:07

Started Blonde -didnt like it.

the Watcher-far fetched so quit

peaky blinders -tried 3 times and i just can’t get it

im back to watching the crown and loving the repeats!

Nissalabella · 22/10/2022 13:02

@XanaduKira ahh thanks, I will look for it!

BoneBonita · 22/10/2022 13:07

I’ve started watching Peaky Blinders - tried it once last year and couldn’t get into it but I was desperate for something to binge on so gave it another go a few weeks ago. Took a season or so to get into it but I’m hooked now, Tom Hardy is brilliant in it.

The watcher is good

Midnight Club is pretty good also.

lemonsaretheonlyfruit · 22/10/2022 13:10

I have just been in bed for the last 2 days and really enjoyed 'pieces of her' . I also ended up subscribing to Apple for a month just to watch Bad sisters' . Loved both

That's assuming you grew up in the UK & the music will mean something to you. If you get up outside the UK, then it probably won't make much difference Grin

I’ve just binged the third season of Derry Girls, so good!

That's a great watch. So funny

ThatshallotBaby · 22/10/2022 13:14

I did like the Watcher

XanaduKira · 22/10/2022 13:16

*grew up (not get up!)

Rainraindontgoaway · 22/10/2022 13:27

watching The Watcher at the moment, enjoying that.

Unbelieved is on Netflix’s was brilliant.

Midwich Cuckoos, not sure if that was sky, but that was brilliant.

Friday123 · 22/10/2022 13:30

I'm working my way through older films I somehow missed. I just watched Seven (really good) and Momento (good but I'd not watch it again)

Recommend the watcher!!

Oriunda · 22/10/2022 13:39

Currently binging The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem. Fascinating, historical, multi-generational tale set during the British Mandate.

Shtitsel was brilliant. The main male character is also in Beauty Queen of Jerusalem.

DoNutSweatTheSmallStuff · 22/10/2022 13:42

Ozark

mondaytosunday · 22/10/2022 14:24

I've recommended these before: How to Get Away with Murder (American drama revolving around a law professor and her students), and Money Heist (absolutely brilliant Spanish drama, must be watched with subtitles though, not the dubbed version). Both run for a few seasons.

Mapletreelane · 22/10/2022 14:49

I'm going through a Scandi noir phase watched the Valhalla murders and the Chestnut Man. Both really good but the Chestnut man in particular was excellent. (Child abuse is featured in both).

The courier is most enjoyable

Thank you, I saw trailers so it’s good to have a personal recommendation

ColonelRhubarbBikini · 22/10/2022 15:12

Wild Croc Territory at the moment. It’s the most Australian thing I’ve ever seen and it’s gloriously entertaining.

Also rewatching Queer Eye cause it gives me the warm fuzzies.

Muddypawsandraindrops · 22/10/2022 15:22

Vikings is good.

Devoutspoken · 22/10/2022 15:28

Xanadu, what do they change the music to? Other commercial tracks but more American? Glad i didnt watch it on netflix as the music is excellent
