To think this might get me in trouble?

Today at work it took me a while to park up. It was a very tight space and when I got in the office my manager who I get on well with jokingly asked how long it took me to park up. I replied, "fucking ten minutes", laughing. He said it back to me, emphasising the "fucking" and then the conversation moved on. He's left the office now, but could I get in trouble for using bad language? I don't swear a lot at work, although a few of my colleagues do. I was quite surprised at myself for swearing really!

Swearing wouldn’t be an issue in my workplace in that context.
Every other sentence in our office is someone going “oh the fucking networks down again”

Honestly, if I got the reaction you got, I’d say to him later, apologies for swearing earlier, it wasn’t very professional, and either he will laugh it off, or say thanks for the apology, it will remove the doubt if you just own it.

Goodness, that would absolutely not be a problem in my office unless you were swearing at someone in anger. Everyone swears! Professional environment, open plan office.

My boss swears a lot but I still would swear at her like that. I don't think you'll be in trouble though.

We don’t usually swear in the office but given the context I think we’d probably just all laugh if someone said the same as you. I wouldn’t worry op.

As long as he didn’t seem annoyed by it it will be fine. I forgot I wasn’t at home today and ballsed something up. I exclaimed ‘Ach shite!’ a bit too loudly. My colleague nearly choked on her tea laughing and my boss laughed and said ‘wow pottymouth!’
