To be a bit miffed about 2 other PGCE students?

I am on my PGCE placement, I attend the staff meeting every week, there are two other students in another class who have not attended any meetings, and know one in the school has said anything about it. I went to the a member of SLT to ask if I should attend and she said yes I should.

AIBU to be a bit miffed?

In fairness to the OP, she isn’t expressing a desire to skive the meetings herself. So not sure why this makes her unsuitable for her chosen profession Hmm

however, it is immensely tedious when people stick their noses into other peoples business.

It certainly sounds like she doesn’t want to attend meetings. She asked if she had to go and was miffed that she was told she does.

I have had a long corporate career and I know all too well that sometimes meetings are too long or not necessary. But I know that for experience, if I were starting out again, I would be lapping up all the knowledge and benefit of experience from others that I could and yes, that would partly come from attending meetings. That Op is already disinclined to do so, suggests she isn’t terribly interested.
