AIBU to think Charlie and Coco’s parents would be investigated by social services?

Charlie, who is pre-verbal, is often unaccompanied or just pushed about by his (early years) older sister. Or have I missed something?

Just watch Bluey on repeat. I have the same age gap between my toddler and my next youngest and he says “oh I think “baby” wants to watch Bluey….should I put it on?”, when baby absolutely doesn’t care about it 🤣

I must admit that Bing has “gone to sleep/gone for a nap/not up yet as it’s too early” quite a bit in this house. If I said the TV was broken, I would just be instructed to fix it 😂

I think if anyone should be reported it's whoever created that awful programme in the first place. I keep trying to get DS into Bluey instead but he's not having any of it 🙄

It made me really cross when Lola lost Sizzles! Outrageous. Poor Charlie, poor Marv. Lola was a PITA and their parents should be up for neglect!

Me too! I used to work with a lovely lady who used to be in a serious relationship with the brother of the person who created Bing. I had so many things to ask but lockdown happened and then she left.

I'm glad DS is 16 and I never need to watch any children's TV ever again.
He used to watch Balamory. I never understood why PC Plum never had the police complaints commission onto him or why Miss Hooley ran a nursery when she was never there (ofsted would have a thing or two to say about her teaching).

When my ds watched Balamory, I always thought that I wouldn't want to know any of them.

They appear solidly middle class so
they will continue to escape social work

Interesting, I also googled it and came to the conclusion Flop was his 'carer' so I'm assuming childminder/nanny - hence why he's Flop rather than dad, and a different animal?

On another note, I don't get the love on mumsnet for Bluey. Those parents need to learn to say No!
