AIBU to just want a pair of amazingly comfy, cloud-like slippers?!

Obviously shamelessly posting here for traffic.

I have horrendous long-term plantar fasciitis and need some new slippers. I want a sole that is supportive but super super soft too. Most that I have tried that are advertised for PF have a firm sole and I just can't tolerate it.

I have no idea where to start looking online/shops...so hit me with your recommendations please?

Moshulu!! I have arthritis and they're really supportive, but also comfy and warm. Pavers do good ones too.

luckylavender · 02/10/2022 19:04

Mahabis

SewingWarriorQueen76 · 02/10/2022 19:12

I'll second Moshulu and their sale ends today. Had both the e trad and ballerina type slippers and the soles are good enough to go out to the bins or washing line in. We'll worth the money.

Theredtoyphone · 02/10/2022 19:13

Crocs slippers?

marriednotdead · 02/10/2022 19:14

Another vote for Moshulu. I have a similar condition to PF and wear these with my orthotics in, just heavenly!

FangsForTheMemory · 02/10/2022 19:14

M&S have some with support in. Sympathies re the PF. It’s misery.

£37 for slippers?! You must be kidding! I've just zoomed in on one pair and you can see where they've been haphazardly glued to the sole! I could get a pair just like those Vittoria's at the market!

BestIsWest · 02/10/2022 19:24

I’ve got Fitflop slippers which are really comfortable. Really helped my PF.

Helenloveslee4eva · 02/10/2022 19:25

Crocs or fitflop.
futflop shoes and boots to actually fix the PF

ShinyMe · 02/10/2022 19:26

My mum gave me some Celtic and Co sheepskin slipper boots last year. I was a bit WTF as they're VERY expensive, but to be fair, I wear them day in and day out round the house and they are VERY VERY comfy.

ChineAndWheeseParty · 02/10/2022 19:36

Thanks all. I've never heard of Moshulu until now! I've ordered a pair to try.

PF is honestly the pits. On my worst days I can't really walk. Have tried all of the normal treatments including shock wave therapy but it's as bad as ever! Awaiting a cortisone shot...

I've had them for 5 years and they still have decent grip on them. They were £29 for the last pair.

SewingWarriorQueen76 · 02/10/2022 19:39

And their returns were flawless. Husband and arthritic toes wouldn't fit and they had no issues with them being returned.

I love moshulu! I have slippers, shoes and sandals and will be buying boots next week.
They're great!
I have a discount code for first orders over £30 if you're interested? I could pm

ChineAndWheeseParty · 02/10/2022 19:58

@AmberGer oh thanks so much but too late, I've already ordered. Thanks anyway!!

@ChineAndWheeseParty I too have debilitating PF. Cortisone shots do absolutely nothing whatsoever and are the most painful thing on earth in my opinion. I'd rather have a Forceps birth alllll over again than that.
May I ask where you had the Shockwave therapy? I know some NHS trusts do it. I've just ordered a Heel Ease and have high hopes. So far, the only thing that helps me is wearing Skechers Go Walk 5 (must be Go Walk 5, no other variation is as good) they're my saviours. I'd be in a wheelchair if it wasn't for them. I mean, I still suffer and have to walk on my tip toes in the evening but I'd be ten times worse without the Skechers Go Walk 5

Bayleaf25 · 02/10/2022 22:52

I have some John Lewis slippers. I jokingly call them my ‘old lady’ slippers but they’re like walking on clouds, I love them.

Fallingleavespassbymywindow · 02/10/2022 23:16

@AmberGer can I be cheeky and ask for your code. Having read this thread I would now like a pair of Moshulu slippers to cope with my dodgy feet.

HouseOfRunners · 03/10/2022 00:17

AmberGer · 03/10/2022 06:35
