To send a gift to the nurses?

I had an endoscopy this week and it was a bit traumatic, but the nurses who helped me were absolutely brilliant. This was in a busy hospital outpatient department but they took the time to help me calm down, held my hand, and were absolutely lovely. I'd like to send a card and a gift to the ward but what can I send? AIBU to do this and if so do you have any suggestions please? I'd like to order something online that could be delivered to the ward directly. Budget not particularly high, maybe £50, but I'd like to send something.

This is lovely OP.

The website may also tell you if there's a hospital charity. Our local one supports all the wards and departments of our hospitals and has brilliant local businesses supporting them to make your donation go further. They do treat boxes/fruit bowls for staff rooms and make sure they get to the behind the scenes people too, like porters and cleaners.

M&S fruit box is about £20-25 plus delivery - they’d love that.
But also cards with specific names and a letter to the management in addition would be amazing

Or buy a gift bag/box full of good cereal bars

Nice jar of coffee, fruit or snacks. The best thing we receive though are cards with personal thank you messages it really does make our day to see that people are happy with the care they receive.

Thank you card, email to chief exec/feedback team, selection of good coffee and teabags

I used to work in Endoscopy, it’s lovely that you want to give them a gift, they will really appreciate it. Tea/coffee/ biscuits for the staff room will go down well.
Definitely write/ email the Chief Exec though, it’s good to let them know.

I got a box of different flavoured brownies handmade from a local bakery for the midwives who looked after me when I had my son.

Amazin do the boxes of Border biscuits, individually wrapped and we got these for the Intermediate Care Team who looked after our Mum. Really well received.

My DD has been in & out of hospital a lot over the years, I always give the nurses on the ward boxes of biscuits, fruit from the garden (depending on the season, special savoury stuff for aperitif etc.
They are always incredibly pleased & thankful

We recently had 2 tubs of chocolate. They're currently 2 for £7 in tesco.

Ha that explains why we have heaps of tubs of Roses and miniature hero's!

After our son was in hospital we took a selection of coffees (sachet ones)/ teas and 'posher' biscuits for the their staff room. They were over the moon. Something everyone on the ward could share.a

Thank you all for the advice, I have sent a Hotel Chocolat "fruity sleekster" box and a nice card. Wish I could remember their names but I was so nervous I just about forgot my own!
