To go to the hairdresser in these circumstances?

DH and I have had Covid since 19 September. Still testing positive. I cancelled a hair appointment I had and rearranged it for this coming Saturday. By which time we’ll have been isolating for 13 days. Am I safe to go to the hairdresser? Masked obviously. As a courtesy I would let the salon know.

@Carrieonmywaywardsun no it fucking isn't. People can test positive for weeks after they've had it. It doesn't mean they're still shedding the virus and infecting everyone they come across.

I don't deny that, if you correctly read the post I was replying to maybe you wouldn't be so unnecessarily upset

You don't have to isolate at all now. If we get covid we are expected to go to work, unless we are too ill to do so, the same as with any other cough or cold.
