What to do about pet hair? Losing my mind!

I have a ragdoll cat
And cocker spaniel
Pet hair is everywhere! No matter ehere they sit. I am starting to get really annoyed as dc's uniform is now full of pet hair.
Dd1 had something said to her in school like "eww youre covered in dog hair"

I have one those pet hair remover things that I try and do each day but honestly all our clothes are just full of it!
I dont get how people have pets and dont seem affected by all this hair. 😕

Is there anything else? I have tried the sellotape method but again it works and then within awhile covered in pet hair, it must be all up in the air or something?!

Lint roller by the front door.
I have some black Lucy and Yak Alexa trousers and a dog. She doesn't go near them yet they are covered. I lint roller them and leave the house straight away.
I also have a mini roller in my bag for dog hair emergencies.

Groom your pets every day That is what I do

If you brush the dog and cat regularly it will stop the amount that ends up on your furniture and in the air. We have a long haired cat and w definitely notice a difference when we brush her often.

We also use the cat brush on the carpet as the dyson animal does not pick it all up. It takes some time and I don’t do it every day but once a week on the main thoroughfare works well.

As for clothes we use a lint roller which works as long as it’s not ingrained.

I have a rough coated St Bernard cross. I hoover him and the house every day. He is not allowed on the furniture or upstairs. We have lint rollers in the car.

We brush him almost daily. He also has salmon oil added to his food which helps his coat.

We have a EUFY robo vac which hoovers the house in the evening.

A rubber broom will work wonders at lifting invisible pet hair off soft furnishings (well, invisible until it sticks to your clothing). Yes to grooming frequently, too.

We have a golden retriever.
We go out looking like yetis.

I don’t think there’s much you can do short of shaving your cat and dog bald 😂

Its all part of owning pets I’m afraid… But lint rollers are very useful, especially for black clothes or that kind of material that just collects pet hair instantly…
