Just one for fun and because I'm struggling with a name for my girl.

If you believe you have psychic abilities can you advise me as to which baby name I should pick?
A) My suggestion
B) Husband's suggestion

Extra points for spooking me out with reasons why haha!

Actually, just wondering if we'll have lots of little Elizabeth babies now.. what does everyone think?

DisappointinglyFlatulent · 22/09/2022 21:15

I'm only here to see how long before some dullard says the 'B' word. You know the one.

The answer is, you won't use either. You will keep searching until you find a name you both love.

Fwiw I think "the one" is a nature name. Sorrell, Juniper, Willow...something along those lines.

Elizabeth had been getting a little bit more popular for a couple of years now anyway - I’ve met a few as well as lots of the shortenings (Betty/Betsy especially) gaining popularity. I think it’s a strong classic but very versatile and parents are noticing it and appreciating.

EbbyEbs · 22/09/2022 22:24

Yours is Annabelle

his is Brianne

MRex · 22/09/2022 22:32

Call her Peggy.

RosieRoww · 22/09/2022 22:33

PaddingtonsHat · 22/09/2022 22:35

I’m getting Josie and Chloe 🤷🏻‍♀️

BudgetBlast · 22/09/2022 22:35

You like Elise and your husband loves Emily. You are totally right because Emily is beautiful but over used and Elise is near enough but pretty in its own right. Well done you.

BlackeyedSusan · 22/09/2022 22:38

DS was baby surname at the GP for a while as I had a wobble between first choice and second choice after labouring all night.

KeepOutingMyselfAnotherNameChange · 22/09/2022 22:38

Initially yours but... we all know his is the one. It's the name of a down to earth little girl. Yours makes me picture one of the 'it' girls from mean girls.

Beccatheboo · 22/09/2022 22:40

A) Verity

Two names come to mind

Ada / Ayda
Esme

I like both!

lemonyanus · 22/09/2022 23:44

You won't end up going with either of the names.

There's something about a grandmother's middle name.

HotIsntIt · 23/09/2022 17:44

Come back @Whayzinaname 😉
we at least need to know if we have any physic abilities!

Whayzinaname · 23/09/2022 18:04

Im afraid no one has demonstrated their communication skills with the otherworld yet.
Points for effort though!
