What to do with old prom dress, wedding dress & moh dress

First World problem here I know. I have in my loft my dd's prom dress from 12 years ago, my MOH dress for a friend's wedding 10 years ago and my wedding dress from 35 years ago.
I just can't decide what to do with them. There are thousands of second hand ones online, you just have no chance of selling them. Plus the prom dress is a different style to what the girls wear now. It's a satin strapless dress that had a little bolero jacket to match. The jacket cost £90 on its own & it still has the label on it & remains unworn.
I could get away with wearing my MOH dress to a ball, but the chances of me getting the opportunity to go to a ball are remote.
Can't bear to get rid of wedding dress.
If I gave them to charity & they didn't sell, what would they do with them? Send them for rags? They are too nice & cost too much to go for rags

Honestly just give them to charity. One which has a wedding/prom section. Your money has gone. They are not being used sitting in your wardrobe.

List them on a cruise wear site - there's a few on Facebook. You may get some money for them

My council runs a collection for prom dresses so that their children in care can pick out from a range of options, and the same with suits.

Give them to charity

I think donate to a charity

Don’t Oxfam have a wedding/ posh dress outlet?

I'd look for a local charity that could use them, as pp said sometimes these things can be given to a child in care and make a huge difference, or maybe ask a local secondary school if they would take them for students in poverty?

Near me there is a charity that takes old wedding dresses and uses them to make little gowns for still born babies or babies who die shortly after birth. Maybe see if there is a similar charity near you?

I gave mine to Sue Ryder, one of my relatives used their Hospice so I felt it was the right place to send my wedding dress.
