Just that really. Husbands believes house prices will go down in the next couple of years.

Gordon Bennet is it some crime now to mention a conversation you have with your husband/male partner.

What on earth is all this about.

SW London isn’t one homogeneous market for houses
Even within the same broad areas such as Fulham and Wandsworth, different areas have different markets - eg Parsons Green and Northcote road are going to be different to Sands end and Tooting

If you have a £2m in a naice part near the good schools and the fancy cafes, prices are going nowhere

If you’ve got a post-war house on a street with lots of HMOs that has ‘potential’, there might be a bit of a softening as a combination of high interest rates and not enough builders chokes off the demand for do-er upper houses

Why? What does he know that the rest of the country doesn’t?

Is there a plan to build a couple of hundred thousand extra homes in London? Aside from that, why would prices come down. Supply and Demand.
