To think William and Harry don't have to make up?

Am I the only one who is a bit irritated at coverage of the Prince and Princess of Wales and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and focusing on their falling out?

Am I the only one who is not bothered if they don't make up? Loads of siblings fall out and go low contact with each other, obviously the vast majority of people are not royalty, I know that of course.

I just think all focus should be on the Queen's sad passing, who devoted her life to the service of her people.

YANBU.

If I were William I wouldn’t make up with someone who’d sat and told billions of people lies about the family, including my OH, and slagged off the family, especially if he was a millionaire in a Beverley Hills mansion moaning about how daddy cut him off.

I totally agree. Tbh, I have a sneaky feeling that the King is going to pick his moment & 'trim' down the royal family, leaving Harry & Meghan to their own devices in USA.
In his first speech, he praised William & Kate, announcing they will now be known as Prince & Princess of Wales but just 'sent his love' to Harry & Meghan. I don't think there's any way back for them 2

The King has been well known for decades for wanting a slimmed Down modern monarchy. I think he will wait til his coronation and just go crazy with the title stripping. I REALLY hope he ships Andrew off to America too but I can’t see it happening

As a mother of two sons, yes they should make up. I would be devastated if my two, now grown sons fell out . When i am gone, they will be each others only remaining " blood" family. I appreciate they will have wives and children but , nothing will ever take away that they are brothers who, have grown up together.

As a mother who gave birth to them both and watched them both grow, laugh and share experiences, this would be heartbreaking. Luckily my 2 boys have a very close bond and a good relationship, seeing each other every other weekend and come home here with me.

I really hope William and Harry reconcile. I am sure their mother, who was just a mother ; their mother at the end of the day, would be devastated to see them so distant.

I absolutely agree with this. I have two girls (early-mid 20s) who have always been good friends. I would hate it if something happened to change that.

They both went to boarding school - probably weren't that close before all this.

Did you never see/ read about how much time the brothers and Catherine spent together when they were a bit older?
I'm sure Charles does love Harry and I doubt things are as bad between them all as the media makes out, although things may go really wrong once Harry's book goes on sale (although I don't actually know anyone who plans to buy it).

Confused You surely can’t equate actual abusers and rapists with the descendants of those who did terrible things centuries ago??
