To have not been to the dentist since before the pandemic

Bit embarrassed, really.

We’ve since moved and there are no dentists taking on NHS patients within a 50 mile radius. Constantly posts on the community group about how people have tried them all, every single one in the county, they’re all saying no - they have no NHS funding.

Accepted that paying private is the only way to go. Found a local practice with five star reviews that offer a plan where you pay £14 a month, this fee includes 2x yearly check ups and 2x scale and polish with the hygienist as 20% off all other treatment (which would put a filling at about £75 should I need one)
Is this reasonable?

Any way of making dental care even cheaper privately under any schemes or insurance I don’t know about?

I pay £20 a month, two checks and hygienist, plus 10% off treatment. The treatment she wants me to have is £7,500. Not happening.
