Ofsted came to DCs primary at the end of June. Still no report. Their website says 38 days max for publication. So where is it? There’s an issue, isn’t there?

I've just opened 5 random reports from the Ofsted website published this week (you can filter by date) and they were 5 May, 7 June, 14 June, and two from the 5th July. The 18 days for the inspector, 5 days for the school, 5 days to finalise, and 5 days to send to parents are maximum timescales - some inspectors will turn them in quicker, others on the deadline.

Don't judge any school by the grading ... read what the text says and judge on that. A school can be inadequate because of Early Years or SEN, for example, but this is irrelevant if your child is a high achiever in Y4.

Would have been better to know before the summer and then potentially have moved the DC before the start of the year.

I don't really understand this pov. If you're not happy why wait for a report?
