Every morning at 5:45am exactly; they leave their house and make a racket with their car. It wakes me up every morning and I cannot get back to sleep.

Options:

1. wear earplugs
2. close the window and sweat to death (we don't have the heating on, im just a hot mess)
3. ignore and go on feeling knackered
4. moonpig a card to politely ask them to be a bit more quiet when leaving their house so early?

I didn't include the option where I go and discuss this like adults, because, I'm too much of a wimp for that.

Try a 'Lectrofan OP. It's a machine that plays white noise/fan noises and it does drown out a lot of unwanted noise. I have one either side of me and they're brilliant! You can set it to whichever sound you prefer. You can buy them off Amazon. I hate noise that I can't control as well!

Can you sleep in your daughters room? Or if you have a partner send them to talk to the neighbours?

Or start bitching about them to all the surrounding neighbours, find the one most likely to say something, then chat to them every day about 'those noisy ones at number 7'. Eventually neighbour will confront them if you wind them up enough

Pretty sure you're my neighbour. My husband had a fiat sport and the noise drives me nuts!!

The reality is everyone has different work schedules and lives, we are all annoying to someone. Try the earplugs.

I think YABU but I do feel for you. Currently sat wide awake unable to sleep and I just know the motorbike down the road is going to wake me up at 6am!

If you moonpigged me a card instead of speaking to me I would be a worse neighbour on purpose.
