.. to ask if anyone has managed to get their Covid test result confirmation in Welsh?

To be clear - I am not Welsh, nor do I speak Welsh. However, I noticed that this is an option when you report your LFT result and ask for confirmation, so the last two times I have reported a result I have ticked this option.

Have I received confirmation in Welsh? Have I thump. I get email and text notification but still only in English.

Tonight DD was doing a LFT because a work colleague had tested positive. She also requested the Welsh version. Nope, only English received.

So just interested if anyone has had this work for them. Or if not and you are a Welsh speaker rather than an English speaker just doing this for the novelty value, are you really pissed off about this?

Yup, it comes in both languages here, Welsh first.

So it sounds as though the algorithm behind this app goes thus:

If the user has a Welsh postcode
Send confirmation in Welsh
End if
Send confirmation in English

The checkbox asking if you want the confirmation in Welsh appears to be redundant because it is ignored anyway.

Do people with Welsh postcodes get asked this question? Or are you asked if you want it in English?

Sorry if this sounds nitpicking but I have a background in software development so have a mild interest in the logic applied here.

Yep - i live in Wales and always get it in both languages.
