To think my baby has a potential eye muscle problem?

I've name changed because if I upload a photo of my daughter here then I can't so unidentifiable on other posts

I took a lovely photo of my daughter today

I was looking at her gorgeous eyes and noticed they have both fixed in a different spot 😔😔 she is 5 months old

I have to wear glasses as I've got about a -2.75 and -1.5 l and r respectively
I also get double or treble vision when tired when I read it's apparently ok and not to worry about and it's just pulling the eye muscles

Wondering if I can do something to play with her to bring eyes to move together or is this a non issue as my husband says? Thank you and sorry for the photo of my baby she is indeed cute but her eyes are in different spots if you have a look.

Not an eye expert so nothing helpful to add but just wanted to say it's great that you're exploring your concerns. I'm nearly 40 and it's only in the last year that my squint has been noticed and operated on - my optician thinks I likely had it from a very early age, but have been able to control it well. It's had an impact as I've gotten older. Weird things like feeling very anxious in busy unfamiliar shops, it's affected learning to drive and my concentration when on the computer - not helpful for my job or studying! And I've been left with horrendous double vision as a result of the operation. I definitely agree that sooner likely leads to better outcomes.
I hope in your dds case it's nothing major, my eldest did have a slight turn when tiny which she quickly outgrew.

Sorry not read all replies but this looks exactly the same as my daughters eye ( picked up by health visitor at 6 months)

Turned out to be duanes syndrome and not fixable. She had glasses from 6 months and we tried patching for a few years to strengthen the eye muscle. She's absolutely fine, although doesn't have much peripheral vision on the eye affected
