Do you think there will be a General Election?

And do you think there should be? Apparently there is a 'demand' for one, but surely the Tories wouldn't be so stupid (given that even their membership don't appear to be that keen on the PM they're about to elect)?

Liz Truss is not the brightest. She is incapable of personally coming up with anything worthwhile.

I think there will be an early election.

Truss will be a disaster and we will have widespread strikes and protests.

I watched that about freezing price cap BUT the problem was it was for 6 months and they have no plan after that

when pressed to for what would follow silence

I don't why people are asking Labour to come up with solutions that they are in no position to put in place.... but the very same Tory supporters aren't demanding that their party come up with plans.... very odd.

Without the Scottish seats, I can't see it. That's essentially 50ish safe seats that need replacing from somewhere. There aren't many urban seats left for them to make gains in, so it's dependent on taking back the red wall seats and making significant 'Middle England' gains.

Labour under Starmer are capable of winning back some seats they had under Blair. Basically Middle England voters that did well in the Thatcher/Blair years but have struggled since the 2008 crash and squeezed by 12 years of Tory cuts and bad governance. Those voters wouldn't vote Corbyn.

I think everyone’s asking the government to do something

it was labour offering solutions on the tv interview I watched
