To think we should be boycotting Coca-Cola

Having made a great show of withdrawing from Russia earlier in the year in support of Ukraine, Coca-cola have quietly entered the market with a new Cola product, Dobra. They’ve managed to keep this out of the headlines here so far, only a smattering of outrage from Ukrainians on Twitter

.AIBU to think we should be boycotting a company that behaves in such a sly & egregious way?

The coca cola company are fighting this with the bottlers.
It'll go to court but it's not like any decision by courts outside Russia will be upheld inside Russia is it?
You haven't a clue op, do better research on the subject and then come back and update.

coca-cola’s shareholders would be thrilled to see such army of defenders willing to overlook their cynical business model and to dismiss their bad behaviour

Did you boycott companies like Amazon, Starbucks, etc who are often accused of tax evasion? Did you boycott major clothing and sportswear brands that have been accused of poor working conditions, child labour, poor safety, etc in their manufacturing units in many Asian countries? Did you boycott energy companies like BP that have made record profits when people are struggling to make ends meet?

You aren't wrong op but why single out Coca cola? The oil industry have been robbing people in plain sight, stoking global conflicts and destroying the environment for decades and one of Shell Oil's former accountants is about to become PM of the UK.
Coca cola is a symptom. Not the cause.

Heineken and Coca-cola diverting a lot of water from folks in Mexico.
