And you have to name them tonight! What will you choose? (Blatantly looking for inspiration - 7 weeks pregnant).

I've actually always loved the idea of two of the Kennedy's kids names, in Neighbours, for a twin boy & girl.

William and Elizabeth officially, but calling them Billy and Libby. Used to think it was clever that two established, and unrelated, names could be shortened to names that have a link because they're the same letters essentially but with the main consonants flipped.

@takingmytimeonmyride My DD1 had only just turned two when my twins were born. She insisted that their names were “Girl Baby” and “Boy Baby.” (Tbf, her cuddly toys were all named things like “Puppy”, “Fluffy Kitten”, “Stripey Kitten”, “Panda”, “Baby Panda”, “Bunny”, “Baby Tiger” and “Giraffey.”) *She’s 18 and hasn’t changed much.

I have those!

Mine are Ray and Claire.

Ray came from my mums maiden name. We're very, very close, and her parents only had daughters, so the name has died with them. Ray is the first syllable. We also liked the tie-in with "ray of light".
Claire came from a family name on my DHs side. We liked that it was feminine and classic, without being common.

We were careful to avoid any cutesy link between the names. We wanted them to be more just siblings than "the twins".
