What makes you behave that way? Poor organisation? Got a better offer? Don’t like the person and didn’t know how to say when first asked?
Im talking repeat offenders here, non-committers, last-minute cancellers, etc.

I'm flakey sometimes because my MH isn't brilliant at the moment. I sometimes make arrangements and then when it comes to it, I get the heebies and can't face going, and make excuses at the last minute.

I was getting better about it, but had a bit of a setback a few weeks ago. I went to a family thing at my SIL's, thinking it would just be all my late DP's family. When I got there, there were loads of people from her DH's side of the family that I'd never met and it freaked me out to the point where I was really desperate to leave. However, I'd given MIL and DNiece a lift and had to take them back, so I couldn't just say I didn't feel too good and fuck off.

I came very close to having a meltdown, and now try and find out who's going to things before I commit myself.

Lots of children and anxiety. I don’t make any arrangements anymore as I keep having to cancel at the last minute which stresses me out and feeds the anxiety spiral

This , I want to commit but more often than not as a single parent my plans are frequently shattered last min. I also have crippling agoraphobia and so the idea of doing something is great but when it comes down to it some days I just physically can’t. I’ve lost many friends over it however not and of my good friends they all understand and are much like me
