AIBU?

Once a day is enough for my wife but I'd like to do it more often. Feeling frustrated, AIBU to look elsewhere?

We usually go to bed about midnight and do it then. Normally it takes me 10-15 minutes but sometimes it takes a bit longer for my wife to finish.

Then I have to wait almost a full day before I can get my needs met again!

It's starting to get me down :(

YABU - Learn to show some restraint, once a day is fine.
YANBU - We all have different needs. You're perfectly entitled to go elsewhere to get your Wordle needs met!

I'm guessing you're a masochist too?

comfortablyfrumpy · 26/08/2022 15:25

Try it in a different language.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 26/08/2022 15:26

Is it as satisfying doing it by yourself though? I mean, why get married?

SpindleInTheWind · 26/08/2022 15:26

Cuntle is excellent. If you combine it with Mornington Crescent you'll arrive at Cockfosters in no time.

Anewdayanewdawn · 26/08/2022 15:28

LTB

Blowthemandown · 26/08/2022 15:29

Haha, a lesson in the importance of completely reading TFP! @ScratchMyItch lol

SavingsThreads · 26/08/2022 15:30

@littlepeas sorry I didn't realise it went down! And assumed the 'school' comment just thought the joke was bad 😂

But thanks to this thread I now know waffle, which I love already!

dogatetheremote · 26/08/2022 15:30

Sedecordle will blow your mind. 16 wordles all at once!

kittybiscuits · 26/08/2022 15:31

Damn. I've already done it today and now you've made me want to do it again.

starfishmummy · 26/08/2022 15:31

Sedecordle

CousinKrispy · 26/08/2022 15:36

Redactle!

emwithme · 26/08/2022 15:38

What about Fyvaa? Bluedle (Bluey themed)? Squareword and Four Word Grid. Plus Septle...

Octordle (8) and Sedecordle (16) now have options where you have to solve the grids in order.

And of course, if you really can't get enough, there's 64ordle.au (64 grids, 70 lines)

(I do wordle in the middle of the night, 100% on 236 streak, then Word Hurdle, Septle, Squareword and Four Word Grid in the morning. 64ordle after lunch. Dordle, quordle, octordle, sedecordle and duotrigordle before bed. Yay ADHD!)

cataline · 26/08/2022 14:26

Semantle!

Sementle, surely ?

Sunbird24 · 26/08/2022 15:46

Quordle has practice grids as well as the daily. There’s also Crosswordle and PlusWord.

hewouldwouldnthe · 26/08/2022 15:51

This is a piss take

hewouldwouldnthe · 26/08/2022 15:54

Stop fiddling about with puzzles and make passionate love to your DW

Threebutterflies · 26/08/2022 15:59

🤦🏻‍♀️ Lol ok you got me 😂😂😂

EmmaH2022 · 26/08/2022 16:01

ScratchMyItch · 26/08/2022 14:41

and how long does Wordle take you?

Max 5 though i don't always finish

have you tried Tuble? I can't even be arsed to do it, but if you want your midnight session to last longer and be more challenging, you might like it

TheLadyofShalott1 · 26/08/2022 16:03

sleepygal · 26/08/2022 14:29

Very funny 😂

@sleepygal,

I would say:
"Pathetic, must try harder"
to
@ScratchMyItch, as I can't find any humour in this.

He or she really needs to
'up their game',
no matter what they were expecting as a result from this.

If they are hoping for a funny thread then they need to be a bit more subtle in their approach. It would be like someone - at say, the Edinburgh Fringe - expecting to win funniest joke with something like it's
'Pasta his bed time'...

Sorry, I have to admit that I couldn't be bothered to read what the actual joke was at the time, but hopefully it was better than my silly punchline!

Songsareliketattoos · 26/08/2022 16:06

Wordleverse gives links to dozens and dozens of Wordle alternatives. 😊

SpindleInTheWind · 26/08/2022 16:11

Shepherd's Bush

Cognacsoft · 26/08/2022 16:16

May I suggest Pedantle?
Nothing else has satisfied my needs since I was lured to it.

WandaWomblesaurus · 26/08/2022 16:17

I've never tried it because I'm scared of it. People go on about it all the time but I don't see what the fuss is about. I'd rather read a nice book in bed. 😂😂😂

riserved · 26/08/2022 16:24

Wordle Unlimited for me, can't have too much of a good thing.

KangarooKenny · 26/08/2022 16:31

Are the kids not back in school yet 🤔
