Boris finds time in between holidays to visit Ukraine but MIA for his own citizens in a time of crisis

That’s it really. He has nothing to say to his own people but jets off for a photo op in Ukraine to give them his unconditional support. Beyond taking the fucking piss now.

Wonder what all those people still loyal think of this when he shows no loyalty to them.

People said he was shit and not fit to govern, so he's obliging them by not governing.

VeniVidiWeeWee · 24/08/2022 15:12

Well, since I'm a subject of Her Majesty and nothing a citizen of Boris I really couldn't care. Why did you start this goady thread?

Cheeriyo · 24/08/2022 15:14

The same as anyone leaving a job, you wouldn't implement any new policies or whatever in your notice period.

BarryBantam · 24/08/2022 15:15

It's guilt.

He got into power partly thanks to Putin and then encouraged Zelenskiy to go against Russia when he realised a bit too late that Russia owns him and the capital city he was mayor of.

Now that it's all gone tits up for the average Ukrainian thanks to the pointless carnage that he is tangentially responsible for, the least he can do is show his bloated hungover face.

Plus Zelenskiy is not a particularly nice guy so best to keep on his good side.

amicissimma · 24/08/2022 15:17

What exactly is it that you would like him to do?

If he really can fix the country's problems (which are replicated round the world), why on earth did we allow our MPs to get rid such a miracle worker?

Nightlystroll · 24/08/2022 15:17

Dotjones · 24/08/2022 15:11

People said he was shit and not fit to govern, so he's obliging them by not governing.

This, really. People spent years moaning because he was governing. Now they're moaning because he isn't governing. He's probably gone to Ukraine because the Ukraine president is very grateful to him for all that he's done. And isn't moaning!

BarryBantam · 24/08/2022 15:20

I would like him to do something useful, for once in his spoilt, pampered, parasitic life.

But if he genuinely can't do anything useful (tbf it does seem to be the case - we've given him a fair crack at it and he's not managed a jot) then I would like him to fuck off completely. Leave office, donate all his money and houses and go and live in the fucking bin.

Endlesssummer2022 · 24/08/2022 15:21

So why didn’t he fuck off immediately then rather than squat in Number 10 on full pay? When I give notice at work, I’m still expected to do my job until I leave.

The government can’t just grind to a halt and ponce about on a shitty months long leadership contest where only 0.3% of the county have a say whilst the country slips into despair.

He could still bring in short term emergency measures until the new leadership is in place and is stable. He can’t ignore the U.K. and the bits of the job he doesn’t like and fly off playing the big man abroad. It’s a travesty. He’s the PM of the U.K. The U.K. needs help today. He’s not the PM of Ukraine.

drivinmecrazy · 24/08/2022 15:21

My thoughts exactly. Maybe he's topping up his air miles.
Complete dick head.

It just exemplifies how he was and is all about himself.

I say this as someone who knows one of his primary advisors who 'retired' recently so have had to listen for years about his belief system.
Never ever ever never have I heard such detached supercilious shite about the man.

Vile vile individual Angry

PastMyBestBeforeDate · 24/08/2022 15:22

It's not a surprise he's there today though, is it?

VeniVidiWeeWee · 24/08/2022 15:23

And in some jobs you're immediately put on gardening leave.

BarryBantam · 24/08/2022 15:24

Why? Are they giving away free shit?

SliceOfCakeCupOfTea · 24/08/2022 15:24

Sorry but what did people expect?
He missed half the build up to COVID too including a number of cobra meetings back then and again this year ahead of the heat waves.

He. Does. Not. Care. He never has.

GreenLunchBox · 24/08/2022 15:25

Cheeriyo · 24/08/2022 15:14

The same as anyone leaving a job, you wouldn't implement any new policies or whatever in your notice period.

That's why he should have fucked off straight away instead of clinging on like a limpet until September. The lazy fucking bastard

BarryBantam · 24/08/2022 15:27

Oh I don't expect anything from him other than nest-feathering and bullshit.

But, I still feel contempt when I see him jetting around like a big bloody red faced wanker, on my dime, as it were.

Thesefeetaremadeforwalking · 24/08/2022 15:27

@Dotjones People said he was shit and not fit to govern, so he's obliging them by not governing.

Neat. I like it !

Endlesssummer2022 · 24/08/2022 15:27

And yes he is a shit PM but he still has advisors who can make recommendations which he can support. The party in charge is not changing only the leader. There will be nothing new. Same back office teams. It’s deckchair arranging and if Liz Truss wins she’s already said she loves Boris. didn’t want him to leave and he got all of the big calls right so there will be no danger in him making a decision today.

He could have gone out with a bit of good news for the British people.

People said he was shit and not fit to govern, so he's obliging them by not governing.

Exactly this.

I didn’t vote for him, but I wouldn’t do a job that I was hounded out of whilst being badmouthed by all and sundry.

What I really do not understand is that part of the hounding related to him telling lies/having parties etc - I mean everyone knew before the election that he had form for turd talk about brexit money for the NHS, having gazillions of children/affairs etc - so given that this was known, I’m not sure why a few lies about parties is at all relevant. IMO it was continuing exactly as he had before, which people who voted for him knew.

Danikm151 · 24/08/2022 15:34

He’s pledged a shit tonne of money for weapons for Ukraine but refuses to talk about help for the UK. Yes he’s leaving but why can he pledge that money but not pledge for the UK?

BarryBantam · 24/08/2022 15:35

We're just offloading all our useless kit to them. Saves decommissioning costs so saves us money in the long run.

EmmaH2022 · 24/08/2022 15:36

Dotjones · 24/08/2022 15:11

i can see that side of it

but if he was still in power, I reckon he'd do the same. Global stuff is seen as more important than domestic. It's a problem full stop.

On your dîme?

Do you earn more than about £40,000 per year? If not, then it’s not your dime.

It’s rarely those actually paying a lot of tax that tend to make this sort of complaint.

HRTQueen · 24/08/2022 15:39

It’s good PR for his future very lucrative career being an international after dinner speaker or some sort of made up role that a company or companies will be willing to pay him to be on their board

he has always only thought of himself and his own future we have all known this about him he is ruthlessly ambitious for himself

LizzieSiddal · 24/08/2022 15:40

I’m quite pleased because I feared he was hanging around so he could do something fabulous and the plebs would forget how shit a PM he had been.
However he’s continued to be a lying, lazy, Cunt, so his legacy will be just that!

Fladdermus · 24/08/2022 15:40

Got to squeeze out as many taxpayer funded perks as possible before he's chucked out.
