I’ll blame the journalists, but I know it’s not just them. So easy if mildly miffed to having suffered a horrendous experience to say

“it’s disgusting, I’m disgusted”

cost of living crisis? Disgusting

found a fly in you holiday hotel - disgusting

utility price increase Disgusting

war in Ukraine - disgusting

immigrants - disgusting

rich people - disgusting

auuuuuugh. Reminds me of Jilly Cooper’s Class

I have another one - unsafe

People use this word when they mean they dont like something or it makes them feel uncomfortable.

Unsafe. You're not unsafe, neither do you feel unsafe

Overused word, loses its value and meaning. See also 'literally', 'big', 'front and centre'.

Vile does it for me, use a loo brush and you're vile.....your partner swears and he's vile. It's just completely overused on here. Shockingly I don't hear it much in real life 🙄
On a different tangent, 'oh gosh' makes me cringe my insides out, I see it quite frequently on here and I instantly know that poster and I would not be friends in real life 😆
