I spend a fortune on lattes etc out. Thinking I shd get a really nice machine instead. Any recommendations?
Given how much I spend on coffee put willing to spend a fair bit of it’s worth it.

Automatic- go for any Delonghi with the settings you need, or if you want to be more hands-on the Sage Barista Touch is excellent or the Delonghi Specialista if you want to spend a bit less. Whatever one you get , maintenance/cleaning is the boring but necessary thing you must we willing to spend time on

Sage barista touch.

We had the delonghi and I wasn't a fan replaced it with the sage and it's amazing. You need to spend time "dialing in" the beans.

And remember - a coffee is only as good as it's beans. Get good beans, freshly roasted and use within 6 weeks.

I have the Jura E6, my husband bought it for me for our anniversary this year. It's a thing of beauty! I'd been looking at replacing pir kettle lately with an instant hot water machine too, amd then realaied I can use the Jura for that too, so could forgo the kettle altogether.
Re your milk question, this machine makes it very smooth, and you can buy an additional milk cooler to attach to it.
