To think with no remaining Fallopian tubes a uterus should pipe the hell down.

Had my second ectopic pregnancy in June and my last tube removed (Rightie went with a bang in 2018).

Am I not right in thinking that with no tubes and no remaining purpose, my uterus should just pipe the hell down and leave me alone?

Instead, it’s gifting me with the most intense period pains I’ve had since the 90s, to the extent I found myself necking Calpol from the bottle at 4am (cosleeping miracle toddler, conceived between ectopics and other losses that I couldn’t risk disturbing by going for the proper painkillers).

I have so much to do today and I just want to curl up, rock and cry into my hot water bottle.

I am so sorry.
I've got vWD and had extensive adhesions and pain so bad that I passed out (7 miscarriages also)
My then 7year old son once called an ambulance for me when I was collapsed in the toilet. It breaks my heart thinking of that,

One thing that changed my life, was an amazing gynaecologist who suggested she place a copper coil in to stretch my uterus out. No word of a lie, after a couple of months, I had actual normal periods. At 3 months she removed it. I have been fine since.
Before this is had tried everything.
