Cyst like spots arghhh what to do

Every time I come on I have these cyst like spots/bumps which are dreadfully painful. They appear on my chin area. I have no idea what to do.
I have tried everything, literally everything but they are so hard to come to head or soften so in the past few months ive just let it be .
Dont touch them or put anything on them and basically they are there for a week or two, sometimes coming to a head or not.
However, tomorrow I am going out on a night out after ages! I want to make the most of it (hardly get to go out with the girls with 3 dc)
Is there anything maybe I havent tried just to soften it up a bit or get rid just so I can enjoy getting made up.
They are painful too..the kind of pain you can feel just moving my facial skin. Its one of those feels bigger than it looks but they are definitely very red and bumpy.

I use acnecide you can buy it from behind the counter at boots it seems to work well for me

Take ibuprofen - own brand or Nurofen. It will stop it hurting, and because it's anti inflammatory will take the swelling down.

Hi op,
I can't help you get rid of the spots overnight but I used to get the same spots along my jaw line too, plus my knees used to feel like they were made of water (best way I can describe it), I would get random body pains, headaches and have heavy periods. I started having vitamin B injections, and taking vitamin D tablets, for a different problem and everything I just described went away. When I mentioned the change to my doctor he looked at me like I was an idiot and explained that everyone knows vitamins B and D helped with 'womens issues'. If you are going to try taking them don't bother getting branded vitamins, Wilkos and Tesco do their own label versions and they are just as good as the expensive ones.

Do they come monthly? Likely they are hormonal which means anything you do to the surface of your skin won’t help and trying to coax them out will just cause more issues. You need to look at balancing your hormones through diet or supplements. Even start with herbal teas that target hormone imbalances can help.

Adding to my previous post, I found out through trial and error that dairy was causing my hormone issues. Once I cut it right down it solved a lot of issues.

I was exactly the same! Hormonal acne was a nightmare and I had awful lumps/cysts that would never go. You say you've tried everything, so may have already tried this but I was prescribed Doxycycline and it's fantastic.

I put toothpaste on mine at night after I wash my face and in the morning half hour before I wash my face. I find it helps with the pain and swelling and making them softer. They eventually go away.

Trust me when I say I battled this for about a decade and tried everything possible. Several times people on mumsnet told me to see a dermatologist to get prescription skincare and save myself a lot of pain, scarring, and expense on trying stuff in shops but for some reason I ignored this for a long time.

Do yourself and your future self a favour - see a dermatologist privately if you can. You'll probably only need one consultation because it's bread and butter to them. I use tretinoin gel topically just for my chin and after the initial peeling stage my skin is now amazing. You must also stop using any products with oil in them on your chin, including make up (find oil free). Seriously just get on with it, you don't need to put up with this.
