Would you take the Covid jab or not?

I'm not sure what to do about this really.

When vaccines were offered to unpaid carers I registered as one. DD was struggling very badly with anxiety and other related issues at that point, was having regular CAHMS sessions, and her biggest trigger was me not being around.

That's why I took the vaccine early first time round; I knew how much she would struggle if I ended up in hospital and away from her.

For no real reason today I looked at my NHS account, only to see that I can have a fourth jab, again as an unpaid carer.

But - DD is completely fine now. She doesn't have any issues ATM and I am not 'caring' for her in that sense any more.

What would you do? Take the jab on offer as I'm already in the system as an unpaid carer, or just leave it? I won't get it any other way as I'm too young.

Can't work out how immoral it might be, and my instinct is to not take it, but I can imagine regretting that if I get Covid soon and end up feeling awful.

To be honest, only you can answer that. Otherwise, you may blame someone else for making that decision for you, if things go wrong either way.

What I would say though, is to trust your gut, it is there to protect you. The only times I've fallen flat on my face in life is when I went against that nagging gut feeling.

Wishing you the best, whatever you decide to do. x
