Leaking nappies, I'm so frustrated!!

Shamelessly posting here for traffic and hoping some super hero mums can rescue me!!

DS has not long turned 2, the last month or so he's waking up because of a nappy leak and I am beyond frustrated! I'm washing his bedding daily and the sleep disturbance is killing myself and his dad.

Does anybody have any recommendations? We stop drinking about an hour before bedtime but his nappy isn't necessarily always full, he lies on his front so it's almost like it just shoots out the front and doesn't have time to absorb round the back. It's nap times too, today's nap has ended up with wet bedding, that was clean on this morning!!

We're currently using asda nappy pants but have tried asda nappies, pampers nappies and the pamper night time pants but nothing seems to hold the pee in! Daytime is fine, it's just the night that we can't seem to crack!

Thank you!

Make sure he is pointing down
make sure all flaps are out
if the nappy has those internal blast barriers, make sure those are free and able to stick up before you strap him in
Put him in an outfit/pjs where he cant get his hand into the nappy and move things around!

We had this and tried:
Sizing up
Making sure willy pointed downwards
Putting nappy on backwards
2 nappies at a time (one the right way, one backwards over the top)
Every different brand that exists (combined with all the above)
Aldi nappies with waterproof cover over the top (this finally solved the issue!!)

Thank you all for your advice. Last night we went leak free but I did nothing different (popping to the shops today to try pampers!), they like to show us up don't they! I'm going to size up and go backwards, see how that goes!

Just be aware, pampers sizing is different to supermarket, the supermarket brands cover a much wider weight range, so you might not want size 5 in pampers. We had to swap to pampers for my daughter because she kept leaking and they fitted her loads better.

I'm putting DS2 in one of these over a disposable at night as he was leaking every morning, they're brilliant.

Hi!
I recommend Kit and Kin. We’ve used them since my daughter was born and were never going back. They great, never had a leak!
Feel free to use my referral code if you want to try them :)
