So annoyed. I’ve had multiple issues with my landlord and this is just the latest. So my statement is due up today but it’s being held back because my landlord is saying I’m in rent arrears and wants payments direct as well as deductions on my payments. I’ve been paying the rent and I’ve already sent a copy of my statements to uc in the past two weeks to show this. They noted that I was in credit when landlord called them and stated I was in arrears but they now want to make another appointment for me to go in and again prove I’ve made payment. Im so sick of it. They are not paying me until I’ve attended the appointment but that could be after my payment date which is this week. I’ve just had enough of my landlord causing one problem after the other. He text me last week to say he was coming round and changing the locks and wanted me out within the week. I’ve contacted my local council many times and the police and only now are my local council bringing him in for childish behaviour and not being professional. I won’t go into the repairs and the fact that he let me this house after tampering with the electrics and them then failing.
