And her 28 year old husband (Sam) posted an IG post saying the tough part of the boys upbringing wasn't Britney but having a father who didn't really work in 15 years and so wasn't a good role model. (As though SAHP can't be good role models) and that Kevin's gravy train was running out. Just snarky unncessary back and forth. Who is Sam to speak about raising teens and being himself a guy also living off of Britney.

Kevin released songs back in the day and had a reality tv show at one point. He did guest appearances on a few shows and was a backup dancer for awhile. He was working as a DJ a few years back. He may have some residuals coming in.

I remember hearing a woman once say that she had lived off of residuals from one song that had charted 30 years ago. That she felt very blessed to have that regular income that was enough to live on. Not sure KFed ever charted but between all his various ventures over the years, he may have some cash coming in or stashed away.

It's understandable that her videos are embarrassing for her sons, but she's also been a cash cow for so many for years now, I can see why she is the way she is, and she's clearly a very angry and probably mentally unwell person still.

We can't know why now.
We do know that he has been a good father and has a good relationship with the children. We do know that he's provided a stable home. We do know that he's always said that Britney loves her boys and is a good mother. We do know that unspecified things have been happening at Britney's that put the boys off from going there. We do know her relationship was breaking down with them. We do know they've decided not see her for the immediate future,and they didn't want to go to the wedding. We do know that they don't like the naked videos and have asked her to stop.

On the other hand, we think we know that KF asked for an increase in his $20,000 monthly child support and Jamie Spears refused. We do know that after that KF took out a restraining order against JS - although he had laid his hands on his son but we don't know how seriously. The fact that he's said he'll be happy to welcome JS back into his house when the protective order ends, makes me wonder how serious it was. We do know that that his child support will end in a few years.

We don't know what independent income KF or his wife has. We don't know if he could make a viable living off selling Britney videos on YouTube - disclaimer: I don't how he released these videos or what, if any, money was exchanged.

So I suppose he could be building a measly little nest egg on videos that will soon run out - especially if this is the worst he's got!; he could be shooting over her bows to warn Britney he has something much worse; or he could be trying to get her to modify her behaviour so she gets back her relationship with her sons.

People are bananas about Britney. It’s not right to just wilfully support whatever she does and pretend things are fine when they aren’t. She’s acting crazy and needs help.

if Kanye west, who is clearly mentally ill like Britney is, started to slag off his children online and was posted in videos waking them up walking around their rooms whilst they were trying to sleep, swearing at them and calling them weird etc then people would be up in arms. But it’s Britney so everyone else is to blame but her.

her children don’t want to see her. She’s their mother and they don’t want to spend time with her. It’s pretty telling really. Her ramblings about them on Instagram look awful.

The Britney stans also have turned on her kids. Social media has a lot of negative messages directed at the kids on certain Britney fan pages. They have social media access and I am sure if not private, get a ton of hate in ther DMs. Some of those fans are truly not well.

What did she say? I think I recall something about they don’t want to take pictures with her now but I read that as because they are grown teens and all teens hate posing for pics with their folks. I thought the boys hadn’t seen her for the past few months? Not 6 + months.

Not that poster and this may not be what she was thinking of but I think she posted some notes or art they had drawn or made and a few videos of them doing activities (playing piano etc). I could well be they didn't want these private or personal moments being posted on her pages given her millions of followers and the negative backlash they get.

Oh yeah I get why they could be pissed off at her for that but I don’t think it would qualify as talking shit about her kids, just a bit of a cringe proud mom moment

Yeah i get that but I still wouldn’t say it’s talking shit about them, but I understand why they’d want to take a step back as she didn’t respect their wishes and boundaries.

she’s had a tragic life tbh, her mum wrote a book about her and basically her parents are horrendous. Knowing she had a sexual relationship at 14 and then actively marketing her as a virgin Lolita, it’s sick. The extent of her mental illness, I’m not entirely convinced if she wasn’t driven to the brink by shitty parents, the fame machine and the press turning on her and hounding her. That’s just my opinion though.

say what you want and if you’re into her music or not but she was a heck of a performer back in the day and a lot of the songs that she actually wrote and composed are quite catchy

Children can be so hard-core about SM, though. RHOCs Tamra Judge 's daughter completely cut her out of her life because she kept mentioning her and put one picture of her graduation ceremony online. She said she'd repeatedly asked her mum not to talk about her but she had failed to respect her wishes.
But I think it was more serious than that with the Spears kids. It was over unspecified things that were happening at the house earlier this year.

Fans are always asking about her kids and making comments about what an amazing mom she is and I am sure she feels some pressure / expectation / guilt to meet their needs. Although she has blamed Kevin and the conservatorship for not having the kids more often, I am sure the kids actually have their own version of why they haven't been there more often. At the end of the day, she needed to put her kids needs for privacy ahead of her needs for validation as a mother or her fans needs for content on her kids.

When you have a platform of 42 million (and some of them fan fanatics), it is a little different than 150 friends on Facebook.

And mental illness is often a genetic predisposition / pathophysiological vulnerability with environmental stress triggers. It isn't all one or the other.
