To ask if you TTC earlier than planned due to possible infertility - and how it worked out for you?

We've been told if we want to have a child we need to get on with it as soon as possible, as my fertility is dwindling prematurely. This will mean ditching or delaying plans we had, which I can't help but be a bit miffed about. But if this is potentially our last chance to have our own child, I don't want to wait and find I regret it later.

Just wondering if there is anyone else out there that had to TTC earlier than planned? Did you get your head round it? Are you glad you went for it?

I felt similarly. I used to beat myself up sometimes that it wasn’t going to work because my mindset wasn’t right. But deep down I don’t really believe that.

I had fertility issues in my early 20s so me and my DH decided to try for a baby - took us 4 years! We tried again for a 2nd but gave up after some 10 years. Now in my late 30s going into peri menopause so chances of getting pregnant are probably non existent. Have accepted life as a mum of 1 and feel so lucky I tried when I did as if I had waited I probably wouldn’t have had my DD.

I was told I had PCOS and may struggle. I had a minor meltdown last September, extremely panicked and broody and husband was on board so we started trying straight away,expecting it to take up to and over a year. Fell pregnant the first cycle of trying however miscarried quite soon after. Had a break of a couple of months to recover and fell pregnant again straight away the second time.
