Neighbour " I've just come back from a few days away to a load of shit in my garden".

OP posts:
Whataretheodds · 11/08/2022 08:31

Her grass is maybe 2ft tall and full of cat shit.

So there is a load of shit in her garden, as she said.

No there was not loads of wet dog hair in her garden. I walk the dogs through the right of way through her garden and there was nothing. I have been washing the dogs in the garden for years with no problem. She is not an approachable person just makes constant comments. Her grass is maybe 2ft tall and full of cat shit. It would have simply been the fact that i dare to brushing and washing dogs in the garden.

But if there was shit in her garden and no hair then why would you think she was talking about dog hair when she mentioned shit?

GLAD87 · 11/08/2022 08:36

Yes there is a lot of shit in her garden cat shit though in her grass absolutley full. Not dog hair on her patio that shes making comments about. I clean up after my dogs. Anyway all of these comments have all made me realise that i need to groom both dogs straight after each other and not clean a single peice of hair up so the whole lot blows in her garden. Then that will give her something to complain about. Yes this is childish but i am sure it will stop the comments. One and for all.

GLAD87 · 11/08/2022 08:39

I knew she was referring to the dog hair because the cat shit has been there for months and the dogs i groomed earlier in the day. And i am sure she was not brushing cat shit into her patio.

So if there was no dog hair in her garden, why do you think she was talking about dog hair when she started brushing her patio and talking about shit in her garden?

And is your conversation always such hard work? Getting relevant information out of you is like pulling teeth. Do you communicate like this in person?

Grow the fuck up.

Testina · 11/08/2022 08:41

You walk your dogs through a right of way in her garden? 🤨
I would ask you to explain that, but your literacy level isn’t great so I don’t bother.

GLAD87 · 11/08/2022 07:52

Dog hair that had probably blown in the wind not. But she said it loud enough beacsue she wanted a reaction, the minuite she comes home flinging her door open. Its just constant comments.

Be more considerate then

No it won't. Grow up and be a responsible adult

Schooldil3ma · 11/08/2022 08:49

Can't you walk your dogs through your own house and out the front door?

liveforsummer · 11/08/2022 08:55

In an see why she was annoyed - once she opens the door it will blow all over the house. Maybe she or someone else in the household is allergic. Maybe you should wash your dogs on the bath from now on so it's just your house left needing cleaned

liveforsummer · 11/08/2022 08:57

If there was no dog hair there she wouldn't have known you'd groomed your dogs that day. Story not adding up!

TommySaid · 11/08/2022 09:16

Do you have cats?

I’d have assumed she was talking about the cat shit as I can’t see much dog hair blowing next door.

But if there is shit in her garden, and she complained of shit, why on Earth are you thinking that she was talking about dog hair?

In fact, if you knew there was no dog hair, why were you writing earlier that you missed have missed some?

You are contradicting yourself.

Depends on the dog. There's a guy who brushes his husky in the local park and there is piles of fur. It blows for a significant distance and sticks on paths trees etc.

ladydimitrescu · 11/08/2022 09:22

You sound beyond immature. I would love to hear her side of the story in regards to how approachable you are! From what you've written here you sound like a nightmare tbh,

TommySaid · 11/08/2022 09:23

Does he pick it up or just leave it?

I can imagine that if it’s just left it would fly everywhere but I assume the OP picked it up so it would have only been small bits flying around.

Gazelda · 11/08/2022 09:28

If there wasn't any dog hair, and you think she'd referring to cat shot, then why mention the dog grooming in this thread?

Who do the cats live with?

Do you have any sort of pleasant convos with your neighbour?

mondaytosunday · 11/08/2022 09:47

Well the first thing I do when I get home is 'fling' my back door open too.
Not sure the point of this thread - starting with a provocative quote then drip feeding. You don't even know if she was talking about dog hair - it may well have been leaves or other debris. Unless the fence between you is very short and you missed shedloads of dog hair, I can't see how that much ended up on her patio - or enough for her to see at night.
I think you just don't like your neighbour. She probably resents your right of way over her garden - I'd never buy a house with that.

He collects it in to a pile bit bits fly everywhere as he's brushing and while he's collecting it up. Noticeable in a large park let alone a smaller enclosed garden

liveforsummer · 11/08/2022 10:32

I also can't figure out how neighbour would have known the dogs had been brushed earlier that day if there was no trace of hair

Hoppinggreen · 11/08/2022 10:37

Why when your neighbour was complaining about shit in her garden would you assume she meant dog hair, which according to you isn’t there anyway?
Weird

ImWell · 11/08/2022 10:39

My main impression from this thread is that I’m very glad that I don’t have neighbours like the OP or their own neighbour.

Sprogonthetyne · 11/08/2022 11:23

If there wasn't visible dog hair, then she would not have know you had groomed the dogs while she was away. Therefore some must have blown onto her patio, which she has every right to be annoyed about, I would be too.
