To ask if anyone else has noticed a rise in PMing on here?

I namechange all the time and don't post very frequently, but I've been her since 2007.

Just over the last month or so I've noticed people randomly PMing me to ask me about things I've written on a thread, that could be asked on the thread. Has anyone noticed this too?

I don't mean where there's been an arrangement to PM people privately just people randomly messaging me to ask about something I've posted.

I've had a few over the years asking about things which might be too personal to post on a thread eg the name of the company I work for or which college/training institute I completed certain certifications with or which dog rescue I worked with etc.

I haven't noticed a rise in messages.

I’ve been here under various names since 2012 and nobody has ever PMed me 😌
