Apparently this is bad.(I am reading Dr Sophie Farooque’s book.
we certainly didn’t know this in 2005/6. Is this known/said now?

the idea seems to be that eating nuts v young is good but getting them on your skin without eating them is bad.

We now have nut allergy to deal with…

Never heard of that

This is true. It is recommended to introduce nuts (eg diluted peanut butter) for high-risk children from about 4 months. It's thought that nut proteins entering via the skin when child has eczema may trigger allergies.
Not sure about breastfeeding but wouldn't nut dust etc be a risk if mother is eating nuts at home?

Yes - nut dust was the idea. Not the milk itself. Because it’s a protein it lingers in the home and touches the child’s skin.
