Pretend you don't get it....Reply to your husband and say 'well they've watched the final now they (the husbands) can finish all the ironing.

If reply- “don’t worry, you can finish the ironing whilst watching the final.”

Have seen similar memes poking fun at “man jobs” not getting done due to sports teams doing super well in world championships.

Nothing wrong with it at all. It gave me a smile. And I'm female.

I would be fine with it but know it was ironic, as DH does all the ironing in this house.

My DH put a similar one on family chat. He's a total equal partner, does probably more than half of domestic duties, brilliant cook! It's satire!
