Help needed to get from Luton Airport to Southwark

Posting for a friend who has booked a last minute package to Harry Potter World for her and DC.

They arrive in Luton circa 8.30am tomorrow and need to get to the Mad Hatter Hotel in Southwark.

Not an experienced traveller so the simplest route recommendations best please.

It’s a bit nuts to fly to Luton, in Bedfords, go all the way to South London (albeit only just) to sleep, and back up to Watford in Hertfordshire for HP Studios!

Flying into Luton, staying in Southwark, then going to the Harry Potter Warner Bros studio tour in Watford (assuming that’s where she means) is completely bonkers! Get her to look at a map! And that’s even without the train strike complication.

Totally agree with others about cancelling the Southwark hotel and staying somewhere in Watford or Luton. Unless there’s a really good reason she needs to be in Southwark. If she wants to see London as well, that’s easy to get to from Watford or Luton (after the strike…).

Is the main reason for coming to London to go to HP world?
